Join the yearly gathering at the Netherlands Process Technology Symposium (NPS20) on 3-4 November 2025, at the Eindhoven University of Technology's campus! Registration and abstract submission are now open! Submit your abstract before the 30th of June.

	Deel jouw favoriete KNCV-verhaal! Cabaretier Berend Koen verzorgt dit jaar het entertainment tijdens de Avond van de Chemie op 15 oktober. Hij doet een beroep op alle KNCV-leden om er een onvergetelijke, op maat gemaakte cabaretshow van te maken. Is er een moment dat jou is bijgebleven tijdens een eerdere Avond van de Chemie show of in je betrokkenheid bij de KNCV? Of wil je juist iets delen over jouw werkveld, onderzoek of het dagelijks leven als chemicus? Vul dan dit formulier in en deel je verhaal. Alles is welkom! Hoe meer jullie met Berend delen, hoe persoonlijker en treffender zijn optreden kan worden. Denk aan persoonlijke verhalen, luchtige situaties of juist iets herkenbaars waar iedereen om kan lachen. Second keynote speaker at NBC!

Marcel Wubbolts will be the second keynote speaker at the NBC on the 23th of September! He is currently the CTO of startup company Vivici, where he leads the team that unlocks the potential of precision fermentation for sustainable whey protein production.

Wubbolts holds a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology from Groningen University and has over 25 years of experience in the biotechnology industry, with a background in leading Research & Development and innovation programs. Don't want to miss his talk? Register here!

Next Generation Leaders in Dutch Chemistry Summit!

On July 7 the KNCV proudly launches the very first Next Generation Leaders in Dutch Chemistry Summit. A new initiative for early-career researchers with not only the talent, but the vision and courage to shape the future of our field.

We’re incredibly proud of the first group of participants: young group leaders in academia and industry who combine technical strength with the ambition to lead, to speak up, and to build bridges across disciplines and beyond academia. Find out more on our website!


	Increase your knowledge with the NPT – ISPT courses! In the fall semester, the NPT and Institute for Sustainable Proces Technology (ISPT) will be hosting three courses for industrial engineers, and academics such as (but not limited to) postdocs, PhD students and EngD students. This includes two new courses on “Hydrometallurgical Recycling of Critical Raw Materials” and “Applied Thermodynamics for Sustainable Chemical Engineering”, and the second edition of “Advanced Distillation Technologies for Energy Efficient Separations”! Each of these courses offers in-depth and specific knowledge and skills on these topics. You can find more information about the courses on their website!
