This prestigious grant, made possible by Chemistry Europe, supports promising researchers in building valuable international collaborations, exchanging knowledge, and strengthening their scientific profiles. In addition, you will receive a financial contribution of € 2.000 to help fund your research stay.
Who is this fair intended for?
The Chemistry Europe Travel Grant is intended for ambitious researchers who:
- have been members of the KNCV for at least two years;
- have at least two years of work experience following the completion of their PhD;
- wish to undertake a research stay of one to two months in a country other than their current country of residence or employment.

What do we need?
For your application, we would like to receive:
- a research proposal (maximum of one A4 page) describing the research you intend to conduct and the impact it will have on your scientific development;
- an up-to-date CV;
- up to five relevant publications.
Important dates
- Applications can be submitted up to and including 15 October 2026.
- The applications will be evaluated in November and December.
- The winners will be announced in January 2027.
